The movie is loosely based on Jules Verne’s The Mysterious Islandand tells the story of Sean Anderson who takes on a trip to a mythical and monstrous island to find his missing grandfather.
The film marks the second feature film for director Brad Peyton
Journey 2 was shot in 3D and will be released by Warner Bros.
